Semagrams
Text Semagrams work with graphical modifications of the text. They concern details, they are tiny, but they are visible. There are as well methods that work without text (see bottom of this page).

Text semagrams

The following methods are no complete list, they are only examples.

Using differrent scripts/typefaces
This creates a binary code in the text - depending on the script or typeface used for a letter. The binary code contains the secret message.

Tiny spaces
There are not only spaces between words but also tiny spaces between some letters - either to form a binary code out of the frequency of spaces and not spaces or to indicate that the following letter after the space is part of the secret message.

Old typewriter effect
Some letters are printed slightly under the line giving the impression of a text written with an oldtypewriter. The letters under the line form the secret message.

Real semagrams
There are many other forms of semagrams. For example one could imagine a picture, where certain details e.g. the number of apples on a tree contain a secret message.
